ThinkHigher Projects

At Thinkhigher, our work is split into two areas; targeted outreach and strategic outreach. Most of the projects, listed below, fall into our strategic work.

Under the Uni Connect programme, strategic outreach work aims to:

  • align and support activity and engagement to address local information, advice and guidance and outreach gaps for underrepresented groups
  • complement, enhance and leverage the commitments providers themselves make and the outcomes they agree with the OfS through their access and participation plans
  • help recipients make well-informed decisions about their future education and to reduce gaps in higher education participation for the least represented groups.

  • The Belonging Project

    Creating a sense of belonging for Black and Mixed Black students in Rugby and Nuneaton.

  • Your Future Careers Roadshow

    Providing impartial advice and guidance to students across Coventry and Warwickshire through our travelling roadshow!

  • Saints Student Lounge

    An inclusive student lounge in the centre of Nuneaton offering a warm, welcoming space to work, socialise and take part in workshops!

  • Levelling Up: Maths

    A specialist tutoring project for Black and Mixed Black A-Level Maths students across Coventry and Warwickshire.

  • Reluctant Readers

    Encouraging young people to read for pleasure and the link to attainment and wellbeing!

  • Rainbow

    A specialist project working to create a sense of belonging and community for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies.
