In the 2021/22 academic year, Thinkhigher partnered up with the Coventry and Warwickshire Careers HubLink opens in a new window to launch the 'Your Future Roadshow'. An impartial event delivering 20 minute sessions on Higher Education, Further Education, Apprenticeships and Preparing for the Workplace.

The event travelled to 15 schools across Coventry & Warwickshire to deliver impartial information to year 10 students The roadshow provided all participating students with knowledge on what options are available for them post-16, allowing them to feel more confident making the best decision for them.

Together with the Careers Hub and ASK ApprenticeshipsLink opens in a new window we reached over 3000 students and we followed the school roadshows up with a weekend event for Parents & Carers which was a huge success! So much so that we rolled the roadshow out virtually for 22/23 and delivered to nearly 1500 Year 10 and 11 students over 2 consecutive days.

Parent and Carer Roadshows 2023

In early July 2023 we relaunched our parent and carer careers roadshow events across four locations across Coventry and Warwickshire covering Rugby, Nuneaton, Coventry and Leamington Spa. We covered Further Education, Higher Education and Apprenticeships in 20 minute, easily digestible impartial sessions to provide not only students but parents and carers with the information they need with the help of our colleagues at ASK Apprenticeships.

We will soon be releasing an impact report about these events and we can't wait to share this with you!
