Campuses

WCG is a group of colleges that, combined, make up one of the most successful further and higher education colleges in the UK.

Each individual college has its own unique identity which means that together we can deliver a broad range of study programmes to help develop the wider skills bases on which our local economies depend.

Virtual Events

  • Pre-recorded video presentations can be created and sent to schools to be shown in form/tutor or in other classes which outline what WCG has to offer at our colleges, what study options there are for students, our open event dates, how to book onto a college campus tour and how to apply and enrol. It would follow the same format as a presentation during an assembly but done over a pre-recorded video which can then be shown to students at your leisure.
  • Live video-calling in classrooms (in smaller group sizes) can be used to deliver the same presentation with all the same information as stated above, but due to it being live students can ask questions back and get more tailored information and answers according to their own personal interests.
  • 1:1 live video-calling sessions can be arranged with school students (in the presence of a staff member if needed) during school hours to talk to a member of our Schools and Colleges Liaison Team at WCG to discuss the students’ post 16 options and to answer individual questions they may have.
  • This virtual offer (including live or pre-recorded videos) can be applied to many different school events, including mock interviews, CV and interview workshops, parents’ evenings or options evenings, and so forth.
  • We have also created videos of our college campuses which give a virtual tour of the grounds and different departments. These are available on WCG’s YouTube channel, which schools and students can access to gain a deeper understanding of what the colleges look like.
